Persistent fatigue, what causes it?

Fatigue problems near me

  • Fatigue is defined as a state of tiredness that does not resolve with rest or sleep. Fatigue can be described as both (or either) physical or mental fatigue.
  • Acute or temporary fatigue is an extremely common result of modern life, but the unfortunate truth is that prolonged fatigue (defined as fatigue that lasts longer than a month) and chronic fatigue conditions (when fatigue persists for at least six consecutive months) are also extremely common in our everyday lives.
  • Prolonged and chronic fatigue conditions are two of the most frequent complaints seen in modern American medical offices. And for most of these patients, the search for a diagnosis—the ‘reason’ for the fatigue—will have been a tedious and exhausting series of doctors and tests with unsatisfying results before arriving at our doorstep.
  • Additionally, the most common experience our new patients describe to us is that any diagnosis they may have already been given to explain their fatigue has done little or nothing to help them resolve the problem and get back into life!
  • At Catalyst Wellness, our patients have seen tremendous improvements in dealing with their chronic fatigue as we help them identify the specific root causes of their condition.
  • Unrelenting fatigue, like most chronic health problems, is rooted in an unbalanced gut, poor lifestyle or diet, and possibly environmental stressors as well. We find that this holds true for fatigue patients who come to us, no matter how long they’ve been suffering, and no matter what diagnosis has been attached to the symptom.

We find that this holds true for fatigue patients who come to us, no matter how long they’ve been suffering, and no matter what diagnosis has been attached to the symptom.

  • The most common stressors we uncover are: food sensitivities or intolerances, an out-of-balance immune system (either hyper- or hypo-), exposure to metal or chemical toxicities, as well as scars.
  • Our clinic uses non-invasive, reliable techniques involving biofeedback to uncover the root causes of your condition— along with therapeutic whole food supplementation and diet and lifestyle support—to re-ignite the body’s own ability to heal.
  • It is our experience that patients of all ages are frequently shocked by how well their body can heal and recover from fatigue or exhaustion with Nutrition Response Testing® and their designed clinical nutrition program. There is no better feeling than watching our clients get their excitement and energy back!
